(1) To prepare the necessary curriculum for the basic and skill enhancement training programs conducted by government and non-government industrial establishments, to standardize and coordinate such training programs, the council shall form an industrial trainee training committee with the following chairman and members:-
(a) Vice-Chairman – Chairman
(b) Member – Secretary – Member
(c) Representative, Ministry of Local Development – ​​Member
(d) Representative, Department of Labor – Member
(e) Representative, Industries Department – ​​Member
(f) Representative, Institute of Engineering Studies – Member
(g) One person nominated by the chairman from among the workers – member
(h) Two members nominated by the chairman from among the representatives of factories and industrial establishments (i) One member nominated by the Chairman from amongst the industrial and labor related experts (j) Director, Technical Division, Council – Member – Secretary
(2) On the recommendation of the Council, the Government of Nepal may make necessary additions or changes in the members of the Training Committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(3) The term of office of the members nominated in accordance with clauses (g), (h) and (j) of sub-rule (1) shall be two years.
(4) If deemed necessary, the training committee may invite any local or foreign expert or consultant to participate in the meeting of the training committee as an observer.
